Three youths drown in river Ganga at Bhairav Ghat

KANPUR: Five youngsters drowned while taking bathtub in river Ganga at Bhairav Ghat on Sunday morning. While three of them had been rescued by means of native divers, the other two may just no longer be traced. Searches had been proceeding to locate them by means of the native divers.

Officials mentioned that 5 youths together with Deo of Kaushalpuri, Krishna of Bamba street, Deepu of Rajpurwa, Asmit and Keshav of Kaushalpurwa, all in the age workforce of 15-16, unknowingly went into deep river water while taking a dip at Bhairav Ghat on Sunday. When they began to drown, the native divers on the river bank jumped into the water to rescue them. While Deo, Krishna and Deepu had been rescued, Asmit and Keshav may just no longer be discovered. Police had been knowledgeable and a rescue group was once pressed into action.


Officials mentioned that the spot the place the youths drowned is relatively deep and there was once robust float of water. The police are aiding native divers in seek operation. The 5 youths had long gone to Bhairav temple to provide puja, after they made up our minds to take dip in Ganga.


According to their members of the family, the youths had left early in the morning and had been supposed to go back by means of afternoon.


Kohna inspector Rajesh Singh mentioned, “The youths had been in the 15-16 years age workforce. While three had been rescued, the search operation to locate the 2 youngsters is underway.”
