Tirupur: A gaggle of enumerators had a fortunate break out after a face-to-face stumble upon with a tigress all over the not too long ago concluded wildlife census in Anamalai Tiger Reserve in the district.
“When a three-member workforce, including a wooded area guard and volunteers, was conducting census in Pappan wooded area, they noticed the tigress with its cub. When it readied to assault them, they managed to hide from it,” mentioned a wooded area professional.
The wildlife census was performed from 6am to 10am between May 22 and May 28. Forest officials and volunteers took survey using mobile app and GPRS equipment. Soon, a file will be prepared on the census, mentioned the professional.
