NEW DELHI: It was once a warm, sunny Friday morning within the nationwide capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 30 levels Celsius, 3 notches above the season's average.
The day was once expected to remain warm without a heatwave whilst the maximum temperature was once more likely to hover around 42 to 43 levels, in keeping with India Meteorological Department (IMD).
There was once a warm moist breeze because the easterly winds blew through the city and surrounding regions at 10 kmph early on Friday.
By 9.30 a.m., the mercury at Palam, probably the most warm area here was once at 33 levels Celsius, while on Thursday and Wednesday it was once touching 37 levels by way of that time, IMD official said.
"The sky will remain clear, moderate winds will continue throughout the day," the IMD official advised IANS.
On a brighter aspect, the air quality was once "moderate" after several days, in keeping with the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR). The Air Quality Index (AQI) was once 181 across NCR on a scale of 0 to 500.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was once recorded at 60 in keeping with cent.
