2 pedestrians killed in road accidents

Coimbatore: Two pedestrians died on Saturday without responding to treatment to accidents they suffered in street injuries in rural Coimbatore a few days ago.

The first victim used to be recognized as K Roshan from Neraiyur near Palladam in Tirupur, a 21-year-old ultimate yr BE (Mechanical) scholar in a private school at Pappampatti Pirivu. He used to be hit via a vehicle on L&T Bypass Road near Sathyanarayanapuram on Thursday night time. “On July 12, Roshan used to be on how you can his room when he used to be hit via a vehicle from in the back of. The motive force fled from the spot,” said a police officer. “He suffered serious head accidents and used to be taken to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH). He died on the hospital on Saturday morning,” the officer added.


In the second incident, P Narayanan, 52, of Madukkarai used to be killed after a motorbike hit him on Coimbatore – Palakkad Road. Narayanan, a labourer, used to be crossing the road when the incident happened on Friday. He suffered head accidents and used to be admitted at CMCH. Despite treatment, he died on Saturday. TNN
