Coimbatore: CPM politburo member, G Ramakrishnan demanded that the state executive make the contract signed with Suez Projects for water supply scheme in Coimbatore public.
Talking to journalists on Tuesday, Ramakrishnan stated the government and the Coimbatore corporation were deceptive the general public on the consuming water supply privatisation venture.
He stated Coimbatore corporation has failed to clarify the apprehensions raised via the people concerning the multi-crore venture.
“The newspaper commercial issued via the civic body on the venture was once deceptive and contradictory,” he stated urging that the state executive and corporation should forestall feeding improper information about the consuming water scheme.
Accusing the state executive of crippling civil rights, he stated instances were registered towards the ones elevating their voice towards the government and arrested. “The eight lane green corridor from Salem to Chennai makes no sense since there are two other freeway stretches between the 2 puts,’’ he stated.
