Engineering, medical admissions to resume today

BENGALURU: Aspiring engineers and medical doctors who have cracked the entrance assessments can heave a sigh of relief as the stalled admission procedure is ready to renew, with the state government and personal schools resolving the stalemate over the price hike.

With the government signing pacts with the consultant organisations of engineering, scientific and dental schools, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is ready to put up the entire seat matrices for BE, BArch, MBBS and BDS classes on Saturday.

KEA officers said MBBS aspirants is also allowed to workout their options by means of July 7, whilst engineering scholars might get a three-day window for a similar. The answer of the stalemate was made possible after the government decided to increase charge by means of 10% in private engineering schools for both government and ComedK quota seats.
