Girl sleeping with mom found injured

CHENNAI: A six-month-old child snoozing subsequent to her mom at her residence in Pandur village close to Tiruvallur was once found lying in a pool of blood in front of her space at 4.30am on Saturday. The child, Kushi, had an injury for about 8 centimetres on her neck and was once bleeding profusely.

The child was once no longer crying when her mom Lydia, 22, got here wailing on the lookout for her lacking child. The lady admitted the kid at the government clinic in Tiruvallur for treatment.

Quoting doctors treating her, the police mentioned Kushi was once strong after sutures at 8 puts on her neck. The Tiruvallur taluk police are probing the thriller and are strongly suspecting that anyone tried to kill her with a sharp weapon like a blade.

Preliminary inquiries printed that Lydia's husband Robin, 23, an autorickshaw driver, stayed at his pal's space, while Lydia was once snoozing at one room together with her elder daughter Iniya, 3 and Kushi. In the next room, Robin's brother, his spouse and two children were snoozing, while Robin's oldsters and sister were snoozing at the hall. The police don't seem to be ruling out involvement of insiders within the crime.
