HYDERABAD: A 45-year-old realtor was once arrested for allegedly raping a 11-year-old mentally-challenged lady at his place of work at Babu Khan Estate on June 16. However, the incident came to light on Saturday.
Saifabad police stated realtor Ramesh was once booked beneath the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Section 376 (Rape) of the IPC and arrested on Thursday. The rape survivor at the side of her mom is living at Adarsh Nagar, where Ramesh used to operate a few tea kiosks.
On June 16, Ramesh, who were given into real property business and opened an place of work at Babu Khan Estate recently, lured the girl on the pretext of taking her to Birla Mandir, but as a substitute took her to his place of work and abused her. The circle of relatives did not lodge a grievance.
On June 26, police came to know concerning the incident and approached the girl's circle of relatives. Initially, the circle of relatives concept it was once a case of molestation. Saifabad police took the 11-year-old to Bharosa Centre, where she disclosed that Ramesh had raped her. He was once arrested and despatched to remand.
