Hijab row should be resolved through talks, says Khader

Mangaluru: Seeking to convey down curtains at the hijab row at St Agnes College here amicably, minister for city building and housing U T Khader on Saturday said he had directed deputy commissioner Sasikanth Senthil S to reslove the problem via talks.
“This is a sensitive issue. A solution must be arrived at most effective via talks. The district management has been assigned the responsibility of bringing the case to a logical conclusion,” he instructed the media at the DC’s administrative center, here on Friday.

Asserting that the problem will have to be refrained from politics, Khader said he used to be a political candidate and that no political party or any spiritual institution will have to intervene in the problem. “This is the explanation I do not need to intervene. I request the district management, representatives from the institution, division of collegiate schooling and fogeys to come beneath one roof and unravel the problem amicably,” he said.


Portraying St Agnes College in good gentle, Khader said the institution used to be in style not most effective at the nationwide but also at the global degree. “The issue must be resolved in any such approach that the picture of the institution isn't tarnished. I request the district management to hear each parties impartially and arrive at a logical conclusion,” he said.


On rumours that a scholar of the institution used to be being threatened for taking flight from the protest, Khader assured stringent motion towards the culprits. He recommended the students and fogeys to convey such issues, if any, to the attention of the police.


Khader additionally said the police division has been directed to adopt motion towards those who try to malign the institution.
