JD(S) workers to hold 'pooja' for K'taka budget

MANGALURU: If JDS(S) leaders HD Deve Gowda, HD Kumaraswamy and HD Revanna are too religious and get started their major duties only after offering prayers in temples, their birthday celebration workers too don't seem to be a ways behind.
The Mangaluru South Constituency unit of the ruling JD(S) is all set to provide special pooja at an endowment temple in the town just to pray that the primary price range consultation be a easy affair without any hindrances.

When leader minister HD Kumaraswamy is all set his first price range of the coalition govt on July 5, JD(S) leaders in Dakshina Kannada district will seek divine blessings for the graceful functioning of the meeting consultation.

Party leaders have determined to provide special prayers and pooja at Kadri Sri Manjunatha Temple at 12pm on Wednesday.

It could also be recalled that former leader minister Siddaramaiah had made statements at Dharmastala opposing Kumaraswamy’s plans of presenting fresh price range.

However, JD(S) leaders say that their prayers are just to make the path for Kumaraswamy easy on July 5.

“JD(S) leaders in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have determined to provide special prayers for leader minister HD Kumaraswamy. Party leaders in other districts too might be offering prayers in temples in their regions. Here, we can cling special prayers all over the Mahapooje at Kadri Temple. We will be offering a distinct Pooja in Kumaraswamy’s title with the prayers that the price range consultation be easy. Prayers and Pooja will be held on behalf of our birthday celebration exclusively for our leader minister,” said Vasantha Poojary, president, JD(S) Mangaluru South Constituency.

Poojary added that birthday celebration workers will pray for Kumaraswamy’s well being and in addition to ward off all evils and enmity.

Former minister Ok Amarnath Shetty, JD(S) district president Mohammed Kunhi and state vice-president MB Sadashiva will be taking part in the prayers.

Later, we can cling a gathering in our birthday celebration place of business to discuss concerning the upcoming election to Mangaluru City Corporation Council, he said.
