Deputy commissioner Sonal Chauhan issued orders on Friday that no single use plastic bottles can be allowed in any of the district executive places of work. The choice has been made as a step towards the environment conservation. Jhajjar has chosen “Beat Plastic” as its annual theme underneath which polythene baggage and different plastic materials can be phased out.
The administration will submit instruction forums within the executive places of work not to bring in any single use bottles within the premises. Although, multi-use water bottles are still allowed. “The multi-use bottles are recommended in comparison with single use ones.
