LUDHIANA: Sarabha Nagar Police has booked an individual for raping a 14-year-old lady after luring her into marriage entice and later threatening to kill her. The accused is round 24-years-old and is a driver.
The mother of sufferer instructed police that the accused used to roam round in their space after he came in contact along with her daughter on telephone. She added that the accused then lured her daughter into marriage entice and on Tuesday at round 12 am in the morning, took her away.
The complainant stated that the accused took her daughter and later left her near a petrol pump on Ferozepur street. He threatened to kill her if she printed concerning the incident to somebody. She added that her daughter later narrated concerning the incident and then they informed police.
After being informed, the cops from Sarabha Nagar police station reached the complainant and started to probe into the topic.
Police later registered a case into the topic under sections 363 (kidnapping), 366 A (Kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel her marriage, etc), 376(rape), 506 (felony intimidation) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and phase three of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Investigating Officer of the case, assistant sub inspector (ASI) Sukhpal Singh stated that the accused is on the run and has switched off his mobile phone as neatly. He added that the accused had are available contact with the sufferer on telephone recently.
The IO stated that medical exam of the sufferer is being executed at the Civil Hospital. He added that extra info of the case will change into transparent after the accused is arrested.
Police officials stated that the sufferer instructed police that the accused took her to a secluded room in a field near his village and raped her there. They added that the sufferer’s father had already died two years in the past and he or she has three brothers and two sisters.
