NEW DELHI: Teen sensations Manu Bhaker and Anmol Jain claimed the gold medal in mixed 10m air pistol workforce pageant, ending on rousing notice India's successful campaign within the 28th Meeting of Shooting Hopes global pageant in Plzen, Czech Republic on Sunday.
Having topped qualification with a ranking of 763, the duo of Bhaker and Jain shot 476.nine to complete forward of any other Indian pair of Devanshi Rana and Saurabh Chaudhary through 1.2 level.
In the mixed 10m air rifle workforce pageant, the Indian groups -- Shreya Agrawal and Hriday Hazarika (496.five) and Elavenil Valarivan and Divyansh Singh Panwar (433.nine) -- received the silver and bronze medals respectively. Sofia Benetti and Marco Suppini of Italy (497.zero) bagged the gold within the event.
The Indians finished the tournament with 11 gold, seven silver and 6 bronze medals. Bhaker had received 4 gold within the prestigious annual tournament, including one within the individual 10m air pistol event.
In the 50m men's junior pistol event, Arjun Singh Cheema (563), Anmol (554) and Vijayveer Sidhu (553) occupied the top three places.
