Coimbatore: The district administration has recognized 10 spaces that are susceptible to flooding throughout this monsoon season.
Eight of them are in Mettupalayam – Chikkatasampalayam, Odanturai, Sirumugai, Jadayampalayam, Iluppanatham, Bellapalayam, Thekkampatti and Kemmarampalayam and two at Perur – Sundakamuthur and Sundapalayam.

All the 10 spaces are low-vulnerable spaces which, upon an extraordinary rainfall, might flood up to two toes high, stated an official concerned within the strategy of figuring out them. The spaces are close to water bodies, together with lakes.
