MUMBAI: A 22-year-old man has been combating for his existence after suffering a cardiac arrest and mind damage whilst lifting weights at a Mumbai Central gym earlier this month. Crawford Market resident Adnan Memon is a fitness fanatic who has been figuring out for more than 5 years.
The incident came to mild after CCTV pictures of the gym showing Memon cave in at the gym floor inside of seconds of lifting weights, went viral on WhatsApp in conjunction with a false message that he was dead.
His family said the messages have added to their agony. Memon, who's pursuing MBA at an Andheri faculty, is lately admitted within the ICU of Saboo Siddique Hospital close to Bhendi Bazaar. The incident happened at the night time of July 7.
Memon was first rushed to Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai Central. A supply on the sanatorium said he was brought in, in a state of cardiac arrest where the center totally stops operating. “Doctors revived him with CPR,” he said.

After the incident was reported to Nagpada police, police officers visited the Memons. When TOI visited Saboo Siddique on Thursday, Memon’s uncle Amin said, “We don’t have any complaint towards the gym. However, when they are running an enormous gym, they should have an in-house doctor.”
