NTA to set up 3,000 practice centres for JEE and NEET

NEW DELHI: The newly-formed National Testing Agency (NTA) will arrange three,000 centres to let JEE-main and NEET-UG 2019 aspirants observe computer-based test freed from cost from August 2018. It will even launch a cellular software to help them locate and sign up themselves for the centres.


According to NTA officials, there will probably be no alternate within the syllabus, pattern or problem stage within the 2019 exams. The best difference will probably be that it's going to be completely computer-based. The centres will function on Saturdays and Sundays and aspirants will probably be allotted round an hour to observe to give them the enjoy of sitting for an actual computer-based examination to be performed through NTA from 2019. "Although there are many changes to happen in the future, for the 2019 exams, as the HRD minister had announced, the syllabus, pattern and number of questions and difficulty level will be the same. Any changes at such a short notice with regards to pattern and difficulty level will put students in a difficult situation as they are preparing for their board examinations as well," said a senior HRD legitimate.


NTA may be likely to announce the dates of the UGCNET, JEE-main (January cycle) and NEET-UG (February cycle) on September 1, 2018.
