NOIDA: The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) completed 66-hour rescue operation at four.30pm on Friday, 4 days after it was called in after the Shahberi construction collapse. Nine our bodies have been recovered from the debris as the 2 constructions collapsed in a pancake taste, killing the entire occupants.
The NDRF stated that its workforce stated that the 2 six-storey constructions collapsed in a pancake taste. “In such condition, there may be uncommon probability of sufferers’ survival. NDRF workforce produced from 9 senior officials, including three docs, 21 junior officials, 170 jawans, eight canine, 16 cars, etc. NDRF 8th Battalion’s rescue operation was the third longest after its operations in Kedarnath and Nepal earthquakes.
P Ok Srivastava, commandant, NDRF, stated that a document can be submitted to the headquarter concerning the rescue operation.
The police had booked 24 persons and arrested five accused in connection with the incident.
