GUWAHATI: The Assam Police on Thursday mentioned that 3 police officers, together with two girl constables, have been injured in a scuffle that resulted when police tried to forestall individuals of a Trinamool Congress party delegation at Silchar’s Kumbhirgram airport.

Earlier, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee had claimed that individuals of the party delegation, together with women, have been manhandled on the airport and accused the BJP of enforcing "tremendous emergency" in the country.
