MUMBAI: It was once an alertcabbie who helped police nab college scholar Syed Hasan (19) for allegedly murdering model Mansii Dixit (20).
The Ola driving force informed police that he got suspicious when he helped Hasan elevate a bag, which was once later found to be containing Dixit’s frame. He said he felt the burden to be uneven whilst hanging it within the automobile’s trunk.
Hasan had taken the cab from Al-Ohad development in Millat Nagar, Andheri (West), the place Dixit, a model from Rajasthan, was once killed. The driving force said Hasan changed his vacation spot no less than three times on the Ola app, before deciding to alight at Mindspace, Malad.
After Hasan got off, the driver waited to observe his subsequent move. When he saw Hasan unload the bag, the driver dialled 100 (police control room) two times. Tracking CCTV pictures, police then zeroed in on Hasan inside 4 hours. He was once stuck at his Al-Ohad flat “looking to destroy proof”, said a police officer.
Police said the motive of the killing was once now not but clear. Hasan has claimed that it was once his first assembly with Dixit. He informed the police that he had come to Mumbai from Hyderabad only a week ago, along side two cousins. The Al-Ohad flat is owned by his father, who is within the service provider military. The police have seized a blood-soaked bedsheet and the stool Hasan allegedly used to kill Dixit. Police are probing if he had met Dixit on a dating app.
