BAGHDAD: An Iraqi respectable says a bomb blast at a market in a town south of the town of Mosul has killed at least six people, including two infantrymen.
The respectable says the bombing happened on a street in the market of Qarraya, a town in northern Ninevah province.
The officer says at least 40 people were wounded. The officer spoke anonymously, under executive regulations.
There was no quick declare of accountability for the assault.
Qarraya is about 70 kilometres (45 miles) south of Mosul, Iraq's 2nd greatest town. Both Mosul and Qarraya have been dominated via Islamic State militants from 2014 till 2017, when Iraqi forces recaptured the realm after heavy combating.
