SRINAGAR: The Modi government is willing to carry discussion with Pakistan supplied it stops sponsoring crossborder terrorism, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh mentioned here Tuesday.
Singh mentioned the Centre is able to hold talks with somebody, together with Pakistan but terror and discussion can never pass in combination.
“We are able for talks with any one. PM (Narendra Modi) went an additional mile and flew to Pakistan and met his Pakistani counterpart and his family to ascertain excellent neighbourly members of the family but Pakistan didn’t take any step for creating a conducive surroundings for talks to get to the bottom of problems, together with Kashmir and establish peace within the area,” the house minister mentioned.
The home minister introduced Rs 5 lakhs ex-gratia to the family members of the Kulgam blast victims. Meanwhile, Pakistan PM Imran Khan mentioned he'll resume peace talks with India after the 2019 elections.
Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, he claimed that his olive branch to India were “rebuffed” through the Indian aspect due to the upcoming elections, as an “anti-Pakistan rhetoric brings in votes” within the nation.
