BHUBANESWAR: To advertise the Men’s Hockey World Cup and publicize its occasions — starting with the inaugural ceremony to the closing of the fits — a group of hockey lovers in the metropolis on Tuesday unveiled their version of match mascot Olly, and introduced a web site and social media handles.
The 40-odd hockey fanatics, most of who are students of the city-based Institute of Digital Media Technology, India (IDMT.In), have long past the extra mile to rejoice their love for the game and have been helped by way of the institute in the work.
Coordinator of the fan staff, Akashi Srujana, stated they sought after to contribute to the efforts of the state govt by way of promoting the match on the social media. “We will share day-to-day tales on the match,” she stated, including, “We will also respond to people’s queries on tickets and so on.
