MYSURU: Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy expressed his displeasure on the deteriorating high quality within the vice-chancellor appointments within the state. “We need to start work on making improvements to the quality of VCs,” he said.
At an interactive consultation with VCs of state and personal universities, he said he’s in a position to deliver changes within the machine despite the fact that they will create problems. “If I’m strict, they are going to make me vacate my chair. But I want to see some radical changes. We need to convert one of the vital existing state universities into a world one. The initiative can be supported via the state. The college VCs and registrars must come with a plan,” he said.
“The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences has greater than Rs 1,200 crore in its accounts. They will have started a scientific faculty or clinic to benefit each students and folks,” said Kumaraswamy.

“I’ll continue to exist for the following 5 years. I’ve learned the art of political control,” said the CM.
