AIZAWL: As Mizoram votes on Wednesday, there will be 40 polling stations managed through all-women polling officials and safety body of workers. These ‘pink polling stations’, constructed for women citizens handiest, are in the community known as ‘Dingdi’ after a wild flower, which is found in abundance right here and is often utilized in Mizo poetry to depict stunning women folk.
Every meeting constituency would have one pink polling station.
