New HC judge takes oath of office

RANCHI: Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad took price as the 19th pass judgement on of the Jharkhand top court (HC) on Thursday. Chief Justice Anirudhha Bose administered oath of workplace to him on the court premises.


Born in 1967, Justice Prasad has completed his MA (Economics) and is a legislation graduate. He enrolled as an suggest in June 1995 and started practising on the Ranchi Bench of Patna top court. He is a professional in civil, criminal, constitutional, taxation, labour, provider, arbitration, Chotanagpur Tenancy Act and service issues. His box of specialization is also constitutional, civil and criminal and service issues. He was once appointed as an additional pass judgement on of the HC on September 26, 2014.


Justice Prasad joined as a pass judgement on in Odisha HC in March 2015 after his switch from Jharkhand HC.


It may be famous here that at the moment, there are 14 everlasting judges and 5 additional judges within the Jharkhand HC. The emptiness of judges at the moment stands at seven as the sanctioned strength of HC is of 19 everlasting judges and six additional judges.
