Petrol, diesel prices cut for third straight day on easing crude

NEW DELHI: Fuel prices on Saturday persisted the downward pattern for the third immediately day with petrol rates lower through 32 paise and diesel through 40 paise. In the nationwide capital, a litre of petrol now value Rs 75.25 from Rs 75.57 earlier, whilst diesel is bought at Rs 70.16.

In Kolkata and Mumbai, petrol rates are slashed through 31 paise, while in Chennai, the gasoline is now 34 paise cheaper. Diesel now prices 40 paise, 43 paise and 42 paise much less in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai respectively.

Petrol price on Friday was lowered through 40 paise across the 4 metro towns.

The downward revision comes at the again of declining world crude oil value. Brent crude oil fell $3.34 a barrel, or five.3 in step with cent, to $59.26, its lowest since October 2017.
