RAJKOT: A Swaminarayan sect monk was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Rojid village of Barwala taluka in Botad district.
Police stated the accused Rushiprasad Dasji (47) had raped her several instances at his space the place she used to paintings as a maid 3 months in the past.
“After the sexual attacks, the woman left the process. However, Dasji persevered to stalk her, asking her to renew her paintings. On Tuesday, Dasji once more stalked her and asked her to come to his space. Tired of this harassment, she narrated the ordeal her folks, who took her to police station and lodged a criticism towards Dasji,” stated an professional from Barwala police station.
During interrogation, Dasji instructed police that he was sacked from a distinguished Swaminarayan gaadi 12 years in the past and got here to Rojid village. Here, he established his personal ashram beneath the name Shri Swaminarayan Ashram, Shri Chhapaiyapuram Trust.
