ALLAHABAD: Juna Akhara has announced that it has taken Pragya Singh Thakur alias Sadhvi Pragya back into its fold "as she has been given clean chit by NIA in the Malegaon blast case".
Confirming this, leader patron and basic secretary of Juna Akhara Mahant Hari Giri on Monday said: "Sadhvi Pragya will attend Kumbh Mela in 2019 and also take part in all the 'shahi snans' and other holy rituals along with the saints of the akhara as NIA had absolved her in the 2008 Malegaon blast case."
Mahant Giri added, "Being the disciple of our 'achraya', Pithadhishwar Avedeshanand, she was the member of the Akhara but was excluded after being arrested and jailed in the blast case."
"As Sadhvi Pragya had been given clean chit by NIA, she is being accepted by the Akhara and will enjoy every right of the order. She would camp in the Akhara along with other women saints," he added.
