Suspension of RJD MLCs revoked in Bihar

PATNA: Leader of opposition in legislative council Rabri Devi and her birthday party contributors on Wednesday ended their two-hour ‘dharna’ inside the smartly of the House after acting chairman Haroon Rashid revoked the suspension of five birthday party MLCs.
Enraged over the 5 MLCs repeatedly developing ruckus for the second one consecutive day, Rashid had previous suspended them for the remaining two days. Rabri had sat on dharna in protest. Her son Tejashwi Yadav, leader of opposition in the assembly too joined the protest and sat on some other dharna in the council’s portico.

The suspended contributors were Dilip Rai, Qamar Alam, Sanjay Prasad, Radhacharan Sah and Khurshid Mohsin. The brief winter session will conclude on Friday.

After the protest ended, Rabri mentioned the opposition won and the state govt lost.

Earlier throughout the council’s pre-lunch complaints, the opposition had brought an adjournment realize through RJD MLC Ram Chandra Purbey, alleging misuse of CBI to falsely implicate RJD chief Lalu Prasad on the behest of PMO, CM Nitish Kumar and deputy CM Sushil Modi. The chair rejected the attention but the opposition endured challenging its acceptance and debate in the House.

As pandemonium ensued, Rabri had a verbal conflict with BJP’s Rajnish Kumar and she was once heard telling him to take the chair of the chairman.

Rabri alleged her husband Lalu Prasad had been implicated via the CBI as part of a conspiracy. She mentioned this factor must be debated in the House or else she would not allow the council to serve as.

The former CM also had a spat with PHED minister Vinod Narayan Jha who was once accusing Lalu and his circle of relatives of constructing ruckus in each the Houses.


Congress leader and MLC Prem Chandra Mishra asked in what capacity deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi had met CBI officer. He mentioned the subject must be discussed in the House.


The BJP and JD (U) retaliated. BJP MLC Nawal Kishore Yadav mentioned those who indulge in robbery make extra noise.


Talking to journalists outside the council construction, JD (U) MLC Neeraj Kumar mentioned the protest must be lodged in a democratic manner, but the opposition was once seeking to hamper the council’s complaints.
