They additionally stuck the viper and took it to the clinic. Since Echis is a venomous snake and its bite can result in gangrene, Teju was rushed to Mangaluru for the treatment. The viper too was dispatched to Mangaluru for medical doctors to spot it and plan treatment accordingly.
