KOLKATA: Sarod participant Amaan Ali Bangash has alleged that any person at Kolkata airport intentionally broke his sarod on Saturday morning. The musician was once travelling to Delhi on Jet Airways flight 9W 964 after a concert in the city on Friday.
Bangash spotted the damage to the device on achieving house in Delhi. According to him, the character of damage pointed to a “deliberate” act and not an accident. Coming in the midst of the height song season, he hinted at sabotage and blamed the airline’s lax security for the loss.
