Rajkot: The accused, who had jumped parole after being jailed for allegedly luring a lioness with a chicken while illegally organizing a lion display, was once nabbed while he was once fleeing together with his circle of relatives from Amreli bus stand on Sunday. The video of the incident had gone viral six months ago.
The accused, recognized as Ilyas Baloch, had got parole on December 15 after being imprisoned in Una sub-jail.
“Baloch, a resident of Jhankhia village of Gir Gadhada taluka in Gir Somnath district, was once meant to supply himself sooner than the jail authority after the completion of his parole on the evening of December 19. However, he jumped the parole and was once in the strategy of fleeing to Bihar by the use of Mumbai along with his members of the family,” stated R Ok Karamata, inspector of Amreli particular operation staff.
“We arrested Baloch from Amreli bus stand alongside despatched him to Una sub-jail. However, we let his spouse and youngsters move, as they weren't the accused,” added Karamata.
Baloch was once arrested after he figured in a video showing him luring a lioness on the outskirts of Jhankhia village while looking to organize an illegal lion display. The lioness that he was once luring with a chicken was once recognized as ‘Bhaktani’.
