Thiruvananthapuram: The 2nd version of Olam flea marketplace shall be organized in February. The first version of the marketplace, held at Golf Links in mid-May this yr, was once a grand luck. A special version of the flea marketplace was once held in Technopark in August. The 2nd version of Olam shall be held at Tagore Theatre premises on February 2 and 3, 2019.
Around 80 vendors from around the country will attend the festival this time. In addition to the stalls, Olam can have workshops, stand-up comedy classes, open mike where other folks can voice their opinions, pop-up stalls which permit vendors to exchange ideas with visitors and so forth shall be arranged. Cultural occasions, together with reside song performances via main bands, shall be every other spotlight.
Donning their iconic pinwheels, organizers are planning to release their marketing campaign for the development via the second one week of January.
"The vendors will present a wide variety of unique designs of clothing and accessories. The first edition of Olam saw vendors inspiring other interested visitors to launch their own online firms. The quality and designs of the curated products inspire a lot of visitors. That is why we provided platforms for interaction. Vendors need not necessarily bring their products. They will present product ideas and interested consumers can purchase later," stated Tony Cyriac, some of the organizers.
The version at Golf Club witnessed a footfall of around 8,000. The organizers are expecting extra visitors this time.
On day one the festival shall be held from 3pm to 11pm and on day two it's going to be held from 11am to 11pm.
