MYSURU: Various organisations, including farmers and likeminded people, got here together to oppose the proposed Disneyland-like mission and unlawful mining at Krishna Raja Sagara Reservoir.
They determined that consciousness about opposed effects will be felt in all villages and confident they'd get a solution to oppose the mission at native gram panchayats.
At a gathering within the Agricultural Marketing Institute right here on Saturday, they expressed anguish at government plan to spend Rs 2,000 crore to construct a Disneyland-like amusement park on 400 acres at KRS dam. Farmers warned that a relentless agitation would be launched if the plan was no longer dropped and no concrete steps are taken in opposition to unlawful mining at Baby Mutt.
