CHANDIGARH: Two days after a statue of former high minister Rajiv Gandhi used to be vandalized in Ludhiana, 4 signboards of the Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan have been sprayed with black paint here at Panjab University on Thursday. These signboards bearing the title of Rajiv Gandhi have been in three languages - Punjabi, Hindi and English.
Moreover, the incident came about on the day when the college performed a bunch for the 34th north zone inter-university early life pageant and Punjab finance minister Manpreet Badal used to be the executive visitor at the inauguration rite on Thursday.
"I strongly condemn the incident and such acts won't be tolerated. We were concentrating on the youth festival but it is very unfortunate that the incident has happened at Panjab University. We have started our investigation and those found guilty of spraying these boards with black paint would be dealt with a legal action," stated Ashwani Koul, chief of college security, PU.
Two signboards out of doors the Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan, one out of doors the boys' hostel quantity 4 and every other signboard close to the Ankur School in Panjab University have been blackened. After the incident came to mild, the black spray from the signboards used to be removed.

"It is very unlucky that such an incident has came about in a school. Such misconduct must not be tolerated and an FIR must be filed against the miscreants concerned within the act," stated Lubana.
