LUCKNOW: The estrangement between BJP and its key best friend in UP, Apna Dal (Sonelal) greater further on Friday when the latter announced that it used to be preparing to contest around 10 Lok Sabha seats in UP, including Varanasi — the seat represented by PM Narendra Modi — in 2019. In 2014, the birthday party had contested two seats, Mirzapur and Pratapgarh, in a pre-poll alliance with BJP and its applicants, birthday party convener Anupriya Patel and Kunwar Harivansh Singh, won.
