Surat: Key accused in Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) recruitment exam paper leak Yashpal Solanki had come to Surat to appear for the exam. But disappeared after the exam were given cancelled, said city police.
Solanki had reached the examination centre however disappeared after exam were given cancelled, they added.
An investigation group from Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad had visited the city on Wednesday to get main points on Solanki. Attempts had been made to procure video footages of Solanki on the exam centre. Police officers refused to divulge additional main points claiming that the investigation used to be at a the most important stage.
“Attempts are being made to find Solanki who's on run,” said a senior police officer.
