MANGALURU: Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL) has planned to expand an built-in shipping hub with industrial complicated in the city.
The challenge will be taken up on a design, build, finance, perform and switch (DBFOT) model via an appropriate bidder.
The MSCL has determined to hunt ideas from citizens with regard to appropriate location and feasibility.
MSCL resources stated that the proposed built-in shipping hub is likely one of the prestigious public non-public partnership projects of MSCL. Now ,the MSCL has invited ideas from citizens for identity of locations inside or in the outskirts of the city for the proposal. Meanwhile, the MSCL under the Smart City mission, has also been inviting ideas for more than a few other development works.
Smart bus shelters and e-toilets are one of the crucial projects planned under the Smart City mission. Officials stated they have got plans to construct smart bus shelters with all infrastructure necessary for the commuters in the city. Hence, the MSCL has determined to carry a competition on designing smart bus stands. Engineering faculty scholars, those who are engaged in vastu consultancy services and the public may take part in the contest by sending designs for smart bus shelters.
Participants must submit designs for smart bus shelters suitable for the city in three-D format. The one that submits the most efficient design will be awarded Rs 10,000, whilst Rs 5,000 will be given as the second one prize and Rs three,000 as third prize, stated officers.
