“All the gadgets, whether residential or industrial, in those four-storied apartments are occupied by means of families. We will figure out a style for redevelopment of the colony after exploring talks with the occupants. Legal and financial probabilities of the redevelopment plan are being worked out. We can rebuild new apartments below the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana if the occupants comply with pay their minimum proportion required for construction,” said GDA vice-chairperson Kanchan Verma.

Construction paintings might be undertaken phase-wise to steer clear of encumbrances in relocating and transferring citizens out of the colony in massive numbers. “The engineering department of Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi has been requested to arrange a report at the structural protection of constructions. The report is expected inside one month,” said Verma.
