KOPPAL: At least six folks have been killed after a man poisoned his spouse and his 4 daughters sooner than committing suicide via placing himself.
The incident happened in Metagal village of Koppal Taluk in Karnataka where Shekharaiah Beedanal (42)
poisoned Jayamma (39) and daughters Basamma (23), Gouramma (20), Savithri (18) and Parvathy (16).

Koppal police have registered a case of suicide the rationale of which is not but recognized.
Shekharaiah's being farmer circle of relatives, it is elieved that suicide was once a fallout of the mortgage burden.
His elder daughters - Basamma and Gouramma - have been married whilst 3rd daughter Savithri's marriage was once mounted recently. Shekharaiah had taken loans in his village too for his daughter's marriage.
Agriculture minister Shivashankara Reddy, who visited the home, has expressed shock. "It is very sad and the government will help the family. The investigation will reveal the cause of the suicide," he added.
