Mangaluru: Minimum temperature drops to 17 degrees Celsius

MANGALURU: An afternoon after the New Year, chilly climate prerequisites prevailed in Mangaluru with mercury falling to 17 levels celsius on Wednesday.

The coldest day in the coastal region was recorded 26 years in the past at 15.6 levels Celsius on January eight, 1992, which still stands because the lowest.


Wednesday’s minimal is a four level Celsius departure from the typical minimal temperature recorded for the month, and is the second-lowest in a decade with January 12, 2015 recording 16.9 levels Celsius. The Mangaluru airport house recorded 18.9 levels Celsius as minimal temperature.


Meanwhile, with clear skies, the utmost temperatures are climbing and on Wednesday, it was 36 levels Celsius, about three levels Celsius higher than the typical most for the month.


Karwar and Honnavar, alongside the coast, have been additionally recorded lower temperatures than the typical minimal.


Karwar recorded 16.five levels Celsius whilst Honanvar recorded 19.2 levels Celsius.
