KALYAN: An Amernath resident has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his elder brother to dying with a screwdriver on Tuesday night time. The accused, Viren Harijan, and the deceased, Ganesh, lived with their family.
The police stated that the brothers had had a dispute over some non-public subject a few days in the past. Viren were given into a fight with Ganesh on Tuesday. "He stabbed him several times during the fight and fled," stated a police officer. Ganesh's wife, Bhuvaneshwari, lodged a complaint in opposition to Viren after which the police started in search of him. He was hiding in a wooded area in the Ordinance manufacturing unit space, stated crime branch officer Mahesh Tarde.
