MADIKERI: Union minister Anantkumar Hegde on Sunday sparked an argument when he exhorted Hindus to “instantly retaliate” when “any person from another faith” hurts or causes hurt to Hindu girls.
“Hindu girls should be secure in any respect costs,” he mentioned, addressing a Hindu solidarity conference in Somwarpet .

He mentioned Hinduism used to be dealing with a major threat. “If (Hindus) you continue to sleep, you might lose your id,” he mentioned. “The community should stop discriminating against other people inside the community and work against protecting each other.”
He also alleged the LDF govt in Kerala had vitiated the non violent setting through raking up the Sabarimala factor. He cautioned other people of Kodagu to be wary of “outsiders” who have made the district their house for anti-social activities.
