CHENNAI: Police on Thursday arrested a 45-year-old priest at a temple in Minjur right here for allegedly sexually harassing a lady who has approached him in the hunt for his blessings.
On Wednesday night time, a 34-year-old married girl from Tiruvallur visited the priest, recognized as Rajasekar, in the hunt for his blessings and help to power away “evil spirits that possessed her,” police mentioned.
The priest told the woman that she wanted a unique consideration and took her to a separate room where he allegedly sexually burdened her.
Based on a criticism filed by way of the woman, the Minjur all-woman police arrested Rajasekar. He was once remanded in judicial custody.
