Two Mysuru girls chosen for PM's Pariksha pe Charcha 2.0

MYSURU: Two ladies - each youngsters of lecturers from Mysuru district - have been decided on for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Pariksha pe Charcha 2.zero on the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday. He will have interaction with scholars from across the nation.


Chetana Suresh Malangi, a scholar from town, and Rakshitha G (best left) from HD Kote, a taluk headquarter, have been selected. Rakshitha, daughter of lecturers Govindaraja MM and Prameela, is a class nine scholar of Adarsha School. She left by train from Bengaluru to New Delhi on January 25. Govindarajasaid: "It was unexpected. She is good at public speaking and other activities. She applied through her school."


Chetana, a second-year scholar of JSS College of Pharmacy here, said it is a dream come true. "There was an online test. The first task was to write a catchy caption for an image and the second was to write a 500-word essay on my success mantra. My selection was confirmed on January 25," she said, including, "I'm a huge fan of the Prime Minister. I hope I'll get a chance to ask a question."


Chetana's father Suresh Malangi is the headmaster of a government faculty in Ittigegudu and her mom a trainer. Suresh, a resident of Raghavendra Nagar, said it is a special second for the family.
