NOIDA: An afternoon after a 28-year-old engineer died, allegedly after falling off from the fifth floor balcony of his rented flat in Amrapali Zodiac society in Sector 120, his sister lodged a grievance with police against seven youths who were partying with him on New Year’s eve, mentioning the dying used to be suspicious.
On the basis of the grievance, police booked one of the most youths, Yashvendra Kaushik (24), under Section 302 (murder) of IPC, while six others had been let-off after wondering.
In her grievance, Vivek Parmar’s sister alleged the balcony railing used to be not easy to manner, adding no alcohol bottles were found in the flat.
Vivek’s sister Shalini Parmar, who belongs to Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh, alleged that the seven youths who were provide in the flat, including Yashvendra Kaushik, weren't known to Vivek.
She stated that while the peak of the balcony’s railing is set four feet, there were two clotheslines within. “To succeed in the railing, one has to pass the clotheslines. Hence I’m sure my brother used to be driven down by way of these youths,” reads the grievance.
Earlier stories stated Vivek, an engineer with a personal company, fell to his dying while speaking on the phone.
At the mortuary, an inconsolable Shalini stated she wanted the alleged killers of his best brother and best bread-earner of the circle of relatives to be punished.
While Vivek’s mom had expired years in the past, his father — an asthmatic and a heart patient — mostly assists in keeping at house.
Asked about the grievance, a police officer, even though, stated that prima facie, there used to be little reason why to suspect that Vivek used to be driven to his dying, since not best did the youths call in the law enforcement officials themselves, however had also tried to name for an ambulance.
Meanwhile, Upendra, a meals delivery boy who went to the flat to ship meals at about 2.13 am, instructed TOI that after he had reached the flat, there used to be a pleasant setting.
“A youth who used to be smoking came out, took the delivery and paid in cash. There were other youths in the flat however I didn’t stay there for long,” he stated.
Dileep, security supervisor of the society, instructed TOI that the guards were informed about the accident by way of a cab motive force who had entered the society to drop any individual.
“We saw the youths sitting across the bleeding frame. They stated that they had referred to as police. I didn't try to call the ambulance as he used to be already dead by way of then,” he stated.
Shivam, one of Vivek’s flatmates, instructed TOI that from time to time, Vivek used to get drunk, and that his colleagues were aware of the habit.
“At occasions, he wouldn’t be capable of take care of liquor. We can’t predict what happened. Maybe he used to be sitting on the railing or leaning on it, which led to the fall. It’s tricky to imagine his pals would do this kind of factor. Seems it used to be an accident,” he stated.
