Kanpur: As a present to the newly-weds, a marriage invite in Kanpur Dehat requested visitors to vote for Samajwadi Party in the coming normal elections.
In the invitation card, which is being widely shared on social media, the oldsters of the bridegroom wrote — “Manniya Akhilesh Ji ki sune, Cycle hello chune” (Listen to respected Akhilesh ji, make a choice handiest cycle).”
The invite is for a marriage slated to happen on February 10 at Maidu village in Akbapur block of Kanpur Dehat.
Sheela Singh, whose daughter is getting married on February 10, has requested the visitors to vote for Samajwadi Party in the upcoming LS elections and even revealed this message on the card.
She is not the primary one to do so and marriage ceremony card printers claim that this is a fresh development, with many choosing an identical messages on invitation playing cards.
“Our present is your treasured vote to Samajwadi Party in 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” stated Saurabh Singh, elder brother of Lovely, the bride, while chatting with TOI.
Singh stated the same marriage ceremony card he had posted to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, inviting him to attend the wedding and bless the couple.
“We would be highly honoured that if Akhilesh Ji accepts our invitation and we can be more delighted if he joins us,” he stated.
“People must give their treasured votes to Akhilesh Ji. I believe, the nation is looking forward to him to guide from the front,” he added.
