Thiruvananthapuram: The first international AYUSH conclave, organized through the AYUSH department can be held in Thiruvananthapuram from February 15 to 19.
Governor P Sathasivam will inaugurate the five-day conclave at Nishagandhi Auditorium stated well being minister Okay Okay Shailaja.
Shripad Yesho Naik, Union minister for AYUSH; V Sasi, deputy speaker; opposition chief Ramesh Chennithala; district panchayat president V Okay Madhu; and vice-chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences Dr M Okay C Nair can be provide.
Apart from the 2,500 delegates, research scholars, industrialists, representatives from various government companies and self-governing bodies, NRIs and delegates from 43 international locations can be attending the conclave. This will provide a chance for the AYUSH sector to imbibe the new findings within the science and era arenas.
Tourism, native self-government, agriculture departments, national well being mission, state medicinal plant board and among others can be represented at the conclave.
As a part of this conclave, a four-day well being expo can be conducted from February 15 at the Sooryakanthi Ground.
As many as 325 stalls of various AYUSH branches can be on show at the expo. An education expo can be held together with the well being expo.
Good Food Conclave can be organized at the Institute of Engineers Hall on February 16, which targets to promote wholesome food choices in response to the traditional methods of medication. It may also discuss protein deficiencies, over consuming and other problems and propose solutions for the same.
A trade conclave, farmers’ meet, discussion on AYUSH based well being tourism, start-up conclave, etc. are also being deliberate.
Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the valedictory function of the conclave at Jimmy George Stadium on February 19.
