BHUBANESWAR: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) here on Monday arrested a person from Balasore for his alleged complicity in a 2009 faux railway activity fraud, involving Rs 95 lakh. CBI said the accused, Babloo Yadav, alias Trainer, a resident of Saharsha district in Bihar, was at the run since 2009.
The CBI had registered the case against Fuldeo Oram, former station superintendent of Kalchini railway station (West Bengal), and a few others for allegedly duping some activity seekers of just about Rs 95 lakh in 2009. The accused persons had published faux railway appointment letters and given to plenty of aspiring candidates after amassing hefty amounts from them. Some of the victims were reportedly from Odisha.
The CBI due to this fact known three accomplices of Oram, who was the high accused. CBI named Oram’s three buddies as Subhash Chandra Roul, Sameer Kumar and Babloo Yadav. CBI said excluding Yadav, other three accused persons were either arrested or surrendered in courtroom. Roul belonged to Odisha.
