Boy with appendicitis takes ICSE exam from hosp

MUMBAI: Just a day before the ICSE assessments were to start out on February 22, Thane class X pupil Akshat Pande complained of stomach ache and vomiting and had to be rushed to a sanatorium. And whilst most would suppose the kid ignored his assessments, it wasn’t the case. Diagnosed with appendicitis, the boy took two of his examinations from his room at Fortis Hospital in Mulund before being discharged on Monday night time.

His father, Satyaprakash Pande, mentioned, “When we rushed to the sanatorium, assessments printed that it was sub-acute appendicitis. But Akshat insisted he sought after to seem for the exam the following day so we didn't admit him. His situation worsened the following day and we had to return to the sanatorium and admit him.”

Sure that Akshat wouldn’t be capable to take the exam at 11am that day, the fogeys informed Hiranandani Foundation School, the place he studies. “But he was adamant that he sought after to seem for the exam. His school referred to as us back and mentioned they could search particular permission from the board. After a few email exchanges, the board allowed him to seem for the paper from the sanatorium room,” mentioned his father.

The boy was intended to be discharged that night time however it didn't happen and he gave the impression for the February 25 exam from the sanatorium too. He was discharged on Monday night time and gave the impression for his Hindi paper from the exam centre on Tuesday.
